Championship discipline table: Bristol City's card count so far compared to rivals

Bristol City are six games in to their 2024/25 Championship season, and find themselves just below mid-table.

The Robins responded to two consecutive 3-0 defeats to Blackburn Rovers and Derby County by beating Oxford United at Ashton Gate last week. Ruben Rodrigues put the U's in front but Sinclair Armstrong equalised, and then with less than 15 minutes remaining, Nahki Wells scored a penalty.

Discipline is something which is needed over a 46-game season. There are various points of the campaign in which players will need to avoid getting a booking to either miss one or two games.

At the moment, players must avoid accumulating more than five yellow cards before the 19th game of the season. Joe Williams has received the most yellow cards this term, having been carded three times.

He must avoid picking up two yellows in the next 13 games, otherwise he's suspended. Mark Sykes is the only other player with more than one yellow card this season, having been carded twice.
