Bristol City’s summer net spend compared to Championship rivals including Sunderland and Watford
The Robins will hope to add more new faces to their squad before the start of September.
The new Championship season is now underway but there is still just under a month remaining in the summer transfer window.
It has been an intriguing summer for Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson as he looked to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Oxford United’s midfielder Mark Sykes looks to be a smart addition and highly-rated French goalkeeper Stefan Bajic joined from Pau.
Only the latter of that quartet failed to appear in last weekend’s season-opening defeat at Hull City but they could soon be joined by more new faces before the window slams shut at the start of September.
There have also been departures with Callum O’Dowda, Kasey Palmer, Robbie Cundy and Tyreeq Barkinson all finding new clubs since the end of last season and centre-back Taylor Moore has joined League One side Shrewsbury on loan.
