Bristol City got back to winning ways as they claimed a 2-1 win over relegation threatened Reading at Ashton Gate on Wednesday evening.
Antoine Semenyo gave City the perfect start with an early goal before Michael Morrison put the ball into his own net into the second-half which looked like their run of three games without a win would come to an end.
The Robins had to endure a difficult end to the game after John Swift scored from the penalty spot to set up a nervy finish but fortunately City were able to hold on and in doing so, move up to 16th in the league table.
Alex Scott, the teenage sensation who is enjoying his first full season in the Championship was named Gregor MacGregor’s man-of-the-match. He didn’t get on the score sheet but went near to finding the net and was influential in that all important second goal.
WhoScored.com, a website that is a leading innovator in football statistics and provides various football data which is then accumulated, creating a player rating.
For what you, I and Gregor may have seen, they will have seen differently though there are some interesting comparisons as well as some returns that were the polar opposite.
