How does Bristol City’s squad compare to the rest of the Championship?

It has been a tough first few months of the season for Bristol City in the Championship. They find themselves down in 18th position as they prepare to head into 2023 and will be nervously looking over their shoulder towards the drop zone at the moment.

Nigel Pearson’s side were beaten 2-1 at home by Stoke City this weekend and are only three points above the drop zone. Next up for them is a home clash against in-form West Brom on Boxing Day.

Burnley lead the way at the summit and have the likes of Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers and Watford chasing them down, with Norwich City, QPR, Preston North End, Birmingham City and Millwall looking to get into the play-offs in this campaign.
