All of Bristol City’s 2022/23 Barclays Championship fixtures as Robins away for start and finish of the regular season

Bristol City Women's fans can start planning out their season after the 2022/23 FA Women's Championship fixtures were released.

The Vixens will begin their season away at the Butts Park Arena where they will face Coventry United, who have recently reverted to part-time status.

The Red and Greens encountered financial difficulties last season and had almost looked like folding but after a strong campaign, they not only continued in existence but also managed to stay up at the expense of Watford.

Lauren Smith will take charge for her second season, tasked with the job of taking the West Country club back to the Women's Super League, which now has many riches, owing to a major broadcast deal with the BBC and Sky Sports.

City finished third in the division last year behind league winners Liverpool, before slipping down a place to London City Lionessses in the last few games.

Like the men's team, City's campaign will start and also conclude on the road with their final fixture of the season scheduled to be against Birmingham City, who were relegated last season.

All fixtures are scheduled to be played on Sunday's but there are some matches such as the Conti Cup, which will see them play some midweek fixtures.

Their base for the season continues to be the High Performance Centre, which houses their home games and can welcome up to 2,000 fans. City's Women's team are also set to train regularly at the facility as the club continues its one club approach.
