Bristol City v Rotherham United team news and injury latest - 5 out and 5 doubts for Championship clash

The Robins host Rotherham in their final home game of the season

Bristol City will look to extend their six-match unbeaten run when they host already relegated Rotherham United in their final home Championship match of the 2023/24 season.

The Robins impressed to hold promotion hopefuls Norwich City to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road last time out, which added to their strong form.

Liam Manning’s side have now won three and drawn three of their last six matches, including victories against Leicester City, Plymouth Argyle and Blackburn Rovers.

The Robins’ defensive resilience has been at the forefront of their positive end to the campaign, with Max O’Leary, George Tanner and Zak Vyner in inspiring form, particularly with the absence of Rob Dickie of late.

City have conceded just twice in six matches and boast the fourth-best defence in the division, only behind Leicester, Leeds United West Brom.

At the front end, the Robins have been far from emphatic, but their solidarity at the back has provided them a base to grind out results where necessary.

With two winnable games remaining against Rotherham and Stoke City, Manning will be hoping that his side can carry on their positive end to the campaign.

However, the visitors will do their best to make it difficult for City.

United will be boosted by the return of former manager Steve Evans following his move from Stevenage, and several of the Millers players will be playing for their futures beyond the summer.

Here’s a full round-up of the latest injury news from both teams ahead of the match…
