Bristol City v Nottingham Forest team news - 14 out and 4 doubts for FA Cup clash

The Robins could knock out a second Premier League team in the space of two weeks

Bristol City will be hoping to continue their impressive FA Cup run when they host Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the fourth round on Friday night.

The Robins defeated West Ham 1-0 at Ashton Gate in the previous round following an initial 1-1 draw at the London Stadium and now have the opportunity to send another topflight team out of the competition.

Tommy Conway was the hero against the Hammers, as his early finish in the replay proved the vital moment in the tie - the Scot was also on target in the initial draw between the sides.

While Liam Manning's side's performances in the tournament have been at a high level, they have found it more challenging to take those performances into their league campaign.

City are still yet to record a win in the Championship this calendar year and have been shy of goals in recent weeks.

The recent acquisition of Scott Twine will aid their creative spark in the future, however, the midfielder is cup-tied for the match against Forest after featuring for Hull City in the competition earlier this season.

Forest will fancy their chances of getting a result at the Gate and will be confident they can inflict some damage on the City defence.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side have netted 14 goals in their last six matches, including a 3-1 win at Newcastle United and a 2-1 win against Manchester United.

However, their issue has been at the other end of the pitch. Despite their free-flowing attack, Forest have also conceded 12 goals in their last six, which sets this match up to be full of goals.

Both teams will be missing key players for the match, here is the latest injury news and team news...
