Both managers will be unable to call on some of their players this weekend through injury. Here's the latest on the injury front for both Bristol City and Norwich City, ahead of their EFL Championship clash on Saturday afternoon.

Bristol City injury news

The Robins will be without Kal Naismith, who will at the least, will be unavailable for this match. Naismith sustained a calf injury against Preston and was substituted against Preston on the half-hour mark. The 30-year-old suffered a calf problem in October that had him sidelined for two months, and will find out the severity of his injury on Friday.

Kane Wilson is also doubtful, given that he is still having to make a step up in his recovery from a knee injury that required him to have surgery. Wilson went under the knife after jarring his knee against QPR, and that has kept him out for a considerable time. He played against Everton’s Under-21’s last week for an hour, but is still some way off from competing for a place in the 18-man squad.

Academy graduate Ayman Benarous is out for the remainder of the campaign, after suffering a setback when recoving from his anterior cruciate ligament injury. He returned to the training pitches, and a return looked in sight, but he will now have to go the campaign without an appearance.

Norwich City injury news

Angus Gunn picked up a hip injury and missed Norwich's defeat to Burnley. He will be further assessed, and is doubtful ahead of this match. Ben Gibson missed last week as he did not train, as he and his partner welcomed a baby, and so he was afforded absence.
