Bristol City predicted XI v Leicester City: Robins set for four changes as midfield duo set to return

The Robins host Leicester City on Friday

Bristol City will look to avenge their 2-0 defeat to West Brom when they host Premier League hopefuls Leicester City at Ashton Gate on Friday.

The Robins are boosted by the return to full fitness of Matty James, Joe Williams and Scott Twine for the match following the international break.

Manning will be looking to begin City’s final block of eight games of the season with a victory to provide some positivity around Ashton Gate after a poor run of form.

The Robins have lost five of their last six matches, with four of those defeats coming by one goal. Given their form, City have slipped away from playoff contention.

Tommy Conway will be hoping to add to the goal he netted for Scotland U21s over the international break, while Jason Knight and Mark Sykes have also been representing their countries and are available for selection.

The hosts will face a tough test against Enzo Maresca’s side, who currently sit in second place in the Championship table, despite losing four of their last seven in all competitions.

With Premier League pedigree in the form of Jamie Vardy, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Wilfred Ndidi, the visitors will be confident that they can earn a positive result on Friday afternoon.

The last time these two met, Leicester ran out narrow 1-0 winners at the King Power Stadium thanks to a Vardy penalty.

Here’s how I think the Robins will set up…
