Coventry City v Bristol City team news - 3 out and 1 doubt for Championship clash

The Robins face a trip to Coventry on Tuesday

Bristol City will be without several players when they take on in-form Championship rivals Coventry City on Tuesday night.

The Robins will be looking to build on their impressive display against Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fourth round last time out, as they forced a replay at the City Ground.

Their league form, though, hasn't been as impressive. No wins in their last four in the second tier have seen Liam Manning's side plateau in 13th place, six points and seven places off the Sky Blues.

While their general performances have been positive, their ability to convert chances hasn't been up to standard and they have scored just three goals in their last seven matches.

Manning has made it clear that the Robins are searching to bring in a striker before the end of the January transfer window, but are yet to make any notable progress. However, Scott Twine has come in on loan from Burnley and will aid their attack in the coming months.

The Robins will need Twine and Tommy Conway to perform if they're to get a result at Coventry, who have been impressive of late.

The Sky Blues have won seven of their last 11 matches, which has guided them into sixth position.

Mark Robins' side's last defeat was back on December 2, in a narrow defeat to Ipswich Town, and they have since been in terrific form and playing neat football.

Matt Godden, Haji Wright and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto are three individuals that the visiting defence will need to be wary of if they are to record a positive result.
