Bristol City predicted XI v Coventry City: Robins set for double change as Burnley man returns for Championship clash

The Robins will travel to the West Midlands to face the Sky Blues

Bristol City will be hoping to record a first Championship victory of 2024 when they take on in-form Coventry City on Tuesday night.

The Robins are yet to pick up three points since the turn of the year, after defeats to Millwall and Preston North End, as well as a draw with Watford.

Their FA Cup form, though, has been far better. Liam Manning's side knocked Premier League side West Ham out of the competition after an initial draw forced a replay, and a strong display last time out saw them earn another replay against Nottingham Forest.

City's achilles heel of late has been in attack. While they are creating some good chances, the Robins are having trouble converting them into goals.

City will face a tough test against Coventry, who are in good form. The Sky Blues are on an 11-match unbeaten run and will fancy themselves to continue that trend in their own stadium.

Matt Godden leads the way in terms of goals for Coventry this season, the attacker has netted nine goals so far, and the Robins will need to keep a close eye on the danger man.

Here's how I think the Robins will set up...
