Following the move, O’Dowda explained why he chose the short trip to Wales for his next challenge.

City face competition for midfielder
Stoke City are prepared to battle Bristol City for Reading’s Andy Rinomhota this summer, according to Bristol Live.
The Royals confirmed that the midfielder was yet to respond to their contract offer and is currently set to become a free agent at the end of the summer - a potential move that the Robins are eager to take advantage of.
With Nigel Pearson’s side showing interest in Rinomhota for a number of weeks now, we could soon see them step up in their pursuit as more clubs join the race for his signature.
The 25-year-old joined Reading from AFC Portchester in 2018 and has since made 125 appearances in the Championship.
