Bristol City predicted XI vs Swansea City: Robins not expected to take risk with influential midfielder

Here’s how we think that Bristol City may line up against Swansea City when the two play at the Swansea.com Stadium on Sunday

Bristol City are unlikely to change their side drastically when Nigel Pearson names his team to face Swansea City at the Swansea.com Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Robins are hoping to follow up on their 2-1 win from Wednesday against Reading by winning a second consecutive game, something they have failed to do throughout this season.

There are some things to consider when Pearson chooses his team at lunch time and that will be the current injury status of his players. French midfielder Han-Noah Massengo is carrying a knock after coming off early on in the game in the week and may not be risked.

Callum O’Dowda meanwhile is out for the next four to eight weeks due to sustaining an injury, that means that Cameron Pring is likely to continue in the position he played in on Wednesday.

Here is our take on how Bristol City may line up against Swansea City in the EFL Championship match in South Wales tomorrow afternoon.
