James McAtee came off the bench to score in the 77th minute after being threaded through by Iliman Ndiaye for the only goal of the game.

The Robins had several chances to score in the first-half with Sam Bell heading wide and Harry Cornick forcing a save. United controlled the game in the second period and peppered Max O’Leary’s goal a few times but only needed McAtee’s goal.

Max O’Leary - 6

The City goalkeeper had a few nervous moments, including a clearance that he could have been punished by but he made amends.

George Tanner (subbed off, 85) - 6

Zak Vyner - 7

Vyner coped well with the physicality of Oli McBurnie, and performed well. No real thing of note against him.

Cameron Pring - 7

Pring did well at centre-back again and was quick in his covering.

Jay Dasilva - 7

Made a few positive runs and tried to get forward. United did well though to contain him.

Matty James - 6

United controlled the midfield in the second-half with Berge getting a lot of space. James did play well in the first-half and was neat in possession.

Andy King - 7

King unfortunately let Ndiaye have too much time on the ball which led to the goal. He’d done most things right on the night though,

Sam Bell - 7

Bell had a good first-half and it was clear that the Blades tried to roughen him up with a few fouls. He

Andi Weimann - 6

The captain was a bit loose in possession and conceded possession a few times. He did have a few good moments too though and tried to get his team forward.

Harry Cornick (subbed off, 65) - 8

Another respectable display from Cornick. He had the best chance of the first-half, forcing Davies in to a save.

Nahki Wells (subbed off, 65) - 7

Wells had a good first-half and set up Cornick for their best chance of the 45 minutes. He didn’t have many chances himself but did alright. He’s played a lot of football recently.

Mark Sykes (subbed on, 65) - 6

He was everywhere when he came on but his crosses just couldn’t find a man.

Tommy Conway (subbed on, 65) - 6

He came on and tried to cause some problems but it was when United were on tp.

Alex Scott (subbed on, 73) - N/A

Came on and had a good chance to score but his free-kick didn’t trouble the hosts.

Anis Mehmeti (subbed on, 85) - N/A

Came on for Tanner in an attacking move from the bench, but too little too late.
