Bristol City player ratings in Championship so far this season - with a fan favourite placed well

We take a look at who has been the Robins’ best performer this season based on stats.

Bristol City have seven games remaining this season, with Nigel Pearson’s side currently sat 18th in the Championship table.

The Robins have been knocked out of all club competitions and look set, depending on results elsewhere, to remain in the second tier for a seventh consecutive season.

Pearson splashed an undisclosed fee on Robert Atkinson and George Tanner last summer, while experienced midfielders Matty James and Andy King joined on free transfer.

No money was spent during the January transfer window, but the club did sign experienced centre-back Timm Klose from Norwich City for free.

The Robins have been in poor form as of late, winning only three of their last 10 league games, something they’ll be looking to turn around on Saturday when they face Bournemouth.

With less than a quarter of the season left, the club have already asked their supporters for their thoughts on how the season has gone.

The end of season awards, such as the Player of the Year, Young Player, as well as ‘The Champagne Moment’ of the Season are some of the prizes that are on offer.

Should any City fans be stuck then help is on hand to choose who the best player for the club has been this season. Austrian international Andreas Weimann has been by far the most involved player with 18 goals and nine assists but there are other players to consider like in the defence and the midfield.

Below are the player ratings of the season so far of all the City players who have played minutes in the 2021/22 Championship campaign.

All stats provided by whoscored.com as of 31 March.
