Bristol City have agreed a new six-year deal that will see Hummel continue to make kits for them until 2028.

The Danish kit manufacturer is responsible for the kits of the first-team, women’s and academy teams.

Hummel has produced their kits since the 2020/21 season season, succeeding Bristol Sport, who produced City’s kits for six seasons. Prior to that, Puma made their kits.

As well as Bristol City, they are also responsible for Everton, Southampton and City’s Championship rivals Coventry City and Middlesbrough.

“Hummel is a great company with a great history. They talk a lot about being ‘challengers that won’t conform’ which fits well with our ethos of doing things differently,” said chairman Jon Lansdown to the official club website.

It enables us to push the boundaries of what we want to deliver for our fans and I’m confident the next six years will bring more innovative kits which celebrate what our club and supporters enjoy.”

Mark Underwood, Managing Director of Elite Group UK, hummel’s exclusive brand partner, said: “Following an incredible three-year partnership, we are delighted to extend our agreement with Bristol City. The football club is one of the most forward-thinking clubs in the country, we love and value the partnership highly, and are looking forward to the next six years working together.”

As well as a slight change to the design of the kit, there will also be a new sponsor for the kits next year. Bristol-based Huboo will be on the front of the men and women’s team of City, as well as the Bristol Bears and Bristol Flyers.

They will replace Mansion Bet, who will cease trading as a company on March 31, and will focus on their casino brands.
