Bristol City and Norwich City are both fretting over injuries that Andi Weimann and Josh Sargent picked in their matches on Friday and Saturday.

Both sides were in action over the weekend with the Robins drawing 1-1 with Hull City on Friday night, before the Canaries thrashed Huddersfield Town a day later. Nigel Pearson reported that Andi Weimann picked up a recurrence of his heel injury he has been contending with for the last month. Meanwhile Norwich are likely to be without American forward Sargent for their trip to Ashton Gate.

His prolonged absence has meant the club have had to sign Taylor Gardner-Hickman in the mean time to cover for him.

He is one of four players confirmed to be out for the forseeable future with Tommy Conway sidelined for up to two months with a hamstring injury. Ayman Benarous is recovering from an undisclosed minor injury having battled back from two consecutive ACL injuries, but Rob Atkinson is still recovering from his, having been stretchered off against Sunderland back in February.
