City have been handed a boost in their bid to land Aston Villa star Tim Iroegbunam on loan.

The Robins have been linked with a move for the midfielder this summer, but the likes of Sheffield United, Swansea City and Blackburn Rovers have all been linked.
According to Birmingham Live, Villa have now told the youngster he can head out on loan, which could give City the opportunity they need.
Churchley departs
Speaking of loan moves, City youngster Kai Churchley has now left on loan.
The 17-year-old could do with first team experience, and he will head to Thorbury Town to get some, as detailed by Gloucestershire Live.

Churchley chose City over a number of rivals in 2020, and he is being backed to have a first team future at Ashton Gate.
Pearson extends stay
Yeovil Town have confirmed they have reached an agreement to extend the stay of City youngster Sam Pearson.
The 20-year-old joined the Somerset club on an initial one-month loan spell ahead of the season, but he is already making an impact.
As a result, Yeovil have moved to keep him around until January.
The Welshman has already picked up a man of the match award within his first three appearances for the Glovers.
