Nigel Pearson’s side go into the game against the Bluebirds in good spirits after winning their last game against Luton Town.

Here is a look at some of the latest news coming out of the club today...

Bristol City fired warning by Cardiff ace

Cardiff defender Perry Ng says the Bluebirds has fired a warning to Bristol City ahead of the Severnside derby.

The former Crewe Alexandra man helped his side pick up a 0-0 draw away at West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night.

He has said, as per a report by Wales Online:

“It’s a big game, a derby. They done us last year so we owe them one. We’ve got to go there, be brave, keep a clean sheet and see what happens.”

Decision to make in January

Bristol City have loaned Duncan Idehen on loan to Carlisle United until January.

The defender, who joined the Robins earlier this year having previously played for Lincoln City, Grimsby Town and Birmingham City, will be looking to get plenty of game time under his belt.

He is due to return to his parent club this winter and they will have to decide what to do with him again then, depending on how his stint in Cumbria goes.

Cardiff to assess summer signing

Cardiff could have Jamilu Collins out this weekend.

The left-back joined earlier in the transfer window from German club Paderborn.

He picked up a knock in mid-week and will be assessed ahead of Sunday. His boss, Steve Morison, has said, as per Wales Online:

“He will be assessed in the coming days. With all the will in the world, let’s hope it is just that he’s in really bad pain at the minute and it’s not what we suspect it might be.”
