Braga, who plays in the Portuguese top flight with Arouca, is out of contract at the end of the season which could allow him to move to Ashton Gate.

Arouca were promoted last season and Braga played a pivotal role in helping them get promotion from Portugal’s second tier.
The link to Braga, casts some questions over the future of Daniel Bentley, the first team captain, who is out of contract at the end of next season with no contract talks made public as of yet.

Hide AdBentley has played 32 times this season for City and has recently taken his place back in the team after sitting on the bench for two months.
Max O’Leary, who had a spell in the side after Bentley’s dropping, from December to February, also has a contract up until the summer of 2023.
Braga’s link to City will recast the memories of when Braga’s compatriot Adriano Basso took to the sticks, as he was a popular figure in B36.
