Here is a look at all the latest news coming out of the club today...

Wilson boost

New signing Kane Wilson is in contention to play for Bristol City this weekend, despite missing the last friendly against AFC Bournemouth.

The right-back has made the move to Ashton Gate this summer from Forest Green Rovers after helping the Gloucestershire club win promotion from League Two last term.

Speaking to Robins TV, Pearson has said: “Kane’s out on the grass again today so he will be in contention.”

Pearson, who managed Hull from June 2010 to November 2011, has delivered his verdict on the Tigers.

He has acknowledged that they have made some signings over recent weeks and that his team have to be on their game.

The 58-year-old has told RobinsTV:

“They’ve made some signings and there have been some changes within their squad,” he added. “Shota would have had some time now to put his own ideas into practice.

“I’m always a little bit weary reading too much into our results, their results but come the opening day of the season it will be competitive and we need to make sure our game is in good nick.”

Saturday’s opponents are reportedly keen on Brentford attacker Halil Dervişoğlu.

If he was to join Hull, he would be the third Turkish international to sign for them this summer behind Ozan Tufan and Dogukan Sinik.

According to Hull Live, Arveladze’s side are currently ‘tracking’ him but unless he is signed by 12pm tomorrow he won’t be playing against Bristol City.
