Bristol City and Hull City ‘battle’ for Derby County star, West Ham United ‘line up’ Nottingham Forest captain

The Robins are looking to add some experience to their squad during the close-season.

Several players are expecting to depart over the summer months with Republic of Ireland midfielder Callum O’Dowda already on his way out after spending the last six seasons at Ashton Gate.

The hard work is only just getting underway for Pearson and he is believed to be keen to add one former Premier League defender to his ranks - but will face competition from a Championship rival for his signature.
