The Robins are being linked with a move for Aberdeen defender David Bates.

They have been credited with an interest in the former Rangers and Hamburg man along with third tier pair Derby County and Ipswich Town.

The Daily Record have mentioned the club as a ‘possible’ destination for the Scotsman this summer.

New striker on radar?

Bristol City are said to be interested in striker Alhagi Touray Sisay.

The 6ft 4inc attacker appears to be a man in-demand right now with Accrington Stanley, Shrewsbury Town, Wycombe Wanderers and ambitious National League outfit Wrexham also in the frame.

Sisay, 24, spent last season in the Cymru Premier League with Haverfordwest County and fired 12 goals in all competitions.

Football Insider claim Pearson’s side are interested in luring him up to the Championship.
