The Cherries met City’s public £25m fee and after everything progressed from a bid being accepted yesterday, his move to the Vitality Stadium was confirmed on Thursday.
He departs Ashton Gate having made 91 appearances for City, after being handed his debut by Nigel Pearson against Luton Town back in the 2020/21 season. Scott went on to become the Championship Young Player of the Year last season, and for the last 18-months had been the talk of the club.
He posted on his social media platforms: “To everybody at Bristol City, thank you so much.

Hide AdHis move to Bournemouth has seen him described by their chief executive Neill Blake as 'one of the most exciting young players in Europe'. Bournemouth's season begins against West Ham on Saturday, but Scott will not be in contention as he recovers from a knee injury that ruled him out of Bristol City's Championship opener with Preston.
His injury did not affect his medical and he will rehabiliate before being made available for selection. Scott's move to Bournemouth sees him reunite with Antoine Semenyo who joined them in January, whilst another academy graduate Lloyd Kelly is also on their books.
