A man who died at house in Southville earlier this month has been named - as his ‘devastated’ family paid tribute to him.
James Bruce, aged 43, was described as a ‘much-loved member of the family’ tonight in a statement issued through Avon and Somerset Police.
The man died at a terraced house in Coronation Road on March 2. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder - and has since been released under investigation.
Police said the formal identification process for Mr Bruce had been completed.
In the statement, his family said: “James was a much-loved member of the family. His family and many friends are devastated by what has happened.”
Enquiries into Mr Bruce’s death are ongoing and the force said it would continue to update and support his family.
