Full list of the ‘worst’ schools in Bristol given Inadequate or Requires Improvement Ofsted ratings - mapped
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Parents can now see where the worst schools in Bristol are based thanks to a new interactive map. The tool highlights every school to be given either an Inadequate or Needs Improvement rating by the education watchdog, Ofsted - its lowest scores.
Schools deemed to be inadequate are placed into ‘special measures’ where the Secretary of State for Education will issue an academy order to a maintained school judged. The school will then receive additional, external support to secure the required improvements.
