Other items at the shop, in the former Shambarber premises, will include brooms, ritual candles, crystals, herbs and smudge sticks.
Monika, who’s originally from Lithuania but now lives in Bristol, says she will use female-owned wholesalers and mostly focus on female authors.

“I am currently working on fulfilling my lifelong delusion/dream of opening The Haunted Bookshop, a shop and venue specialising in horror, fantasy, folklore, and other books.
“A place where guilty pleasures will be encouraged (calling all the spicy faeries!) and the weird and unusual embraced with open arms.”
Monika hopes to open The Haunted Bookshop in mid-July.
