We visit the ‘magical’ after-dark Christmas event with starry night trail, music and food

The last sessions are on Christmas Eve

The Festive Illuminations at Old Down Country Park is on until Christmas Eve with sessions running from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

The experience is described as an after-dark event featuring "a Starry Night trail guiding you around Old Down Estate, surrounding you with music, colour and light with interactive areas along the way. A truly magical Christmas experience for children and adults to explore."

Visitors can go around as many times as they like during opening hours. They can also get a marshmallow for free at the Christmas Village where they also sell crumbles and hot drinks. The cafe and The Barn are also open and serving food.

Tickets cost £17 per adult, £11.50 per child ages 2 to 15 and concession (60+ and childminders) and free for under 2s and carers (with valid ID). Family Tickets (2 Adults and 2 children) cost £52 from the website.
