We visit the huge adventure park on the outskirts of Bristol with a play bus, spa and lots of animals

The 66-acre park has a lot to offer for families and people of all ages

Situated on the outskirts of Bristol, the 66-acre Old Down Country Park has a lot to offer for all the family.

The park showcases a variety of open spaces featuring beautiful gardens, woodlands, play areas and an animal park.

The park is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm, and animal encounter sessions are held daily at 11am and 2pm where visitors can meet the animals and their keepers.

Visitors can buy a bag of food to feed the animals for £1 per bag at the shop at the entrance to the park.

There is also a cafe on site offering a range of food options including sandwiches, salads, pasties and homemade cakes, as well as hot and cold beverages.

The farm shop is full of locally sourced products from independent businesses, along with seasonal produce grown on the estate by talented gardeners.

Tickets cost £13 per adult, £9 per child ages 2 to 15 and for concession (over 60, childminder), and carers (with valid ID) and children under 2 go free. Family Tickets (2 Adults and 2 children) cost £39. Late entry after 3 m is available to purchase upon entry at the ticket office for £5.
