5. Glitch Studio
At Glitch Studio, a hairdresser, Jen, the manager, shared: "I would say that because obviously having your hair done and having a tattoo, it's a luxury service, I think it's probably one of the first things that people strike off their list of things that they need to spend money on to save money. Luckily, we're quite a busy salon, so it hasn't affected us too much but we have noticed some clients that don't come as often as they used to. The footfall [hasn't been affected] so much actually and because we're in quite a good location, we're right by town, we're really lucky that we've got a lot of foot traffic. So we haven't really been affected too badly in that way, especially because we've got a load of student accommodation behind us, so we're really lucky that they all come to us from there."
