Bristol Airport confirmed the aircraft was using its runways for a form of testing.

A spokesperson explained: “Bristol Airport like all airports, occasionally supports the testing of ground or aircraft-based navigation systems, and flight procedures.

“As part of the testing regime this requires an aircraft to make a number of runway approaches to Bristol Airport over a period of time.”
