Bristol Hippodrome has unveiled the name of the main star of this year's pantomime. Leading the cast for Peter Pan will be renowned British actor and TV detective, David Suchet in the iconic role of Captain Hook.

Suchet says: "I can’t wait to make my panto debut for Crossroads Pantomimes at Bristol Hippodrome this Christmas. Having spent my life in theatre and TV I know just how important panto is as the first experience of theatre for thousands of young people each year, and it’s going to be a lot of fun to take on the part of the ultimate panto villain as Captain Hook - look out Peter Pan!”

Joining him is Steps singer and musical theatre star Faye Tozer as The Magical Mermaid and Bristol panto favourite Andy Ford as Smee marking his 11th pantomime appearance at the Bristol Hippodrome.

Ben Phillips, Theatre Director at The Bristol Hippodrome says: “We are so thrilled to have such an excellent cast lined up for this year’s pantomime, Peter Pan. It is such a treat to have the legendary David Suchet at the Bristol Hippodrome starring in his first ever pantomime!"
