Scores of youngsters will be stepping into the next phase of their education as they start secondary school in September.
As preparations are made for their first day at ‘big’ school, we have put together a list of some of the best secondary schools in the Bristol region which received ‘good’ or ‘outsanding’ Ofted ratings in 2022.
Schools across the country are regularly inspected by the education watchdog and are graded on a four-point scale.
‘Outstanding’ is the top rating a school can receive, ‘good’ is second, ‘requires improvement’ the third and ‘inadequate’ is the worst.
