British Pie Week, a celebration of the delicious pastry, is running until this Sunday (March 10).
The event was started by Jus-Rol in 2007 as a marketing scheme to increase sales and encourage people to make pies at home but, nowadays, it is an opportunity to celebrate all forms of British pie and support local businesses.
It is believed that Brits eat £1 billion worth of pies every year, that's those bought and sold commercially and so not counting homemade pies.
Here are 7 of the best places in Bristol to indulge in pie this British Pie Week:
1. Bake-A-Licious
One of Bristol's latest additions, the Greek bakery is open every day from 9am to 6pm, has indoor seating and serves wheel chicken pies, wheel cheese pies and square cheese pies along with other delicious pastries and cakes. They also have vegan options like triangular mushroom pies, wheel leek pies and wheel Mediterranean vegetable pies.

The Bakehouse is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 2.30pm (alternate weeks 3pm) and Tuesday and Saturday from 8am to 2pm.
