Tesla crashes through furniture shop window on Whiteladies Road in Bristol

An elderly woman was taken to hospital after her car crashed through the shop window of a luxury furniture shop on Whiteladies Road in Bristol.

The Tesla went into Arlo & Jacob on Monday at around 4.30pm, causing extensive damage to the front window and furniture at the front of the store.

The female driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but was thought to have not suffered any injuries.

A younger woman was also treated at the scene by an ambulance but her injuries were also not believed to be serious.

Avon and Somerset Police received the call-out at 4.37pm and Avon Fire and Rescue Service were also attended the scene.

Arlo & Jacob is a luxury furniture store and one of their sofas can be seen in pieces in the image.
