Bristol festival Siren has announced noughties pop trio Sugababes as its Thursday night headliner.

Best known for hits like Overload, Freak Like Me and Round-Round, original line-up of Sugababes will appear at the harbourside festival on August 1.

Headlining the first of three nights, Sugababes will headline the Amphitheatre with support acts to be announced soon.Into its third year, Siren has already established itself as a summer calendar highlight for Bristol dance music fans.

Last year’s event saw dancehall and reggae legend Sean Paul, electronic DJ Wilkinson, and drum and bass favourites Fabio & Grooverider, headline three nights at the Amphitheatre.

Tom Hoyle, co-founder of Siren, said: “Having Sugababes headline at Siren is going to be an extraordinary experience for all of us!

"They’re one of those bands that have connected with so many different audiences and their music holds so many memories for people - and now we get to be a part of creating new memories with them, which is unbelievable. Back-to-back bangers as the sun sets on the harbourside, what more could you want from a summer’s night in Bristol?”

On Saturday, August 3, Hospitality on the Harbour will be taking over the Siren stage featuring some of the top names in drum and bass. The event will feature Andy C, Netsky and High Contrast.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Thursday February 15 at 6pm, with general release tickets live at 10am on Friday February 16 from the Siren website, starting from £35.
