Stockwood Lane: Road closure after two-vehicle crash

A busy road linking Stockwood and Keynsham is currently closed after a crash. Avon and Somerset Police are at the scene of the incident, which happened just before 4pm today (December 16).

Motorists have reported that the steep road, which narrows down to a single lane, is blocked. Some have voiced concern for those involved. At 5pm, the road was still closed to traffic with police at the scene.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly before 3.55pm this afternoon to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Stockwood Hill and officers remain at the scene currently.”

The crash comes days after a two-vehicle collision on the same road in Stockwood. A car slid on the ice and hit a parked car on Saturday.
