Man, 61, released on bail after arrest
Enquiries are continuing into the incident.
As part of their investigation into the incident at Stockwood Pump Track, officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has information which could help them establish what took place.
Three people, a 16-year-old boy and two men aged 20 and 61, received hospital treatment for injuries sustained in the incident. The 61-year-old man was subsequently arrested and has since been released on bail. Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Starr said: “We are keeping an open mind about what took place at the bike track on Sunday evening as we look to piece together what happened. “One man has already been interviewed and given his account and we will, in due course, also be speaking to those who sustained injuries along with anyone else we identify as being involved. “In the meantime, neighbourhood officers are conducting regular patrols through the park and in the surrounding area to provide reassurance to the community. “Should anyone have any concerns relating to the incident, I encourage them to speak to one of my officers or contact us on the non-emergency 101 number. “Anyone who was at Stockwood Pump Track at around 9pm on Sunday who saw anything which could be relevant to our investigation is asked to get in touch. “We’d also be interested to hear from anyone who has mobile phone footage of any part of the incident.”

Stockwood councillor warns incident could have been 'murder’
Graham Morris, Conservative Councillor for Stockwood Ward has spoken to BristolWorld about the incident.
He said: “Like many, we are saddened to hear of a stabbing in Stockwood Ward.
“Thankfully this is a rare occurrence and we hope it stays this way. We hope the victim makes a full recovery and the perpetrator is identified and prosecuted.
“We would like to thank the emergency services for their prompt response. Individuals need to realise the consequences of their actions. If the knife had penetrated another part of the body we could be talking about a murder. Carrying knives can only lead to negative consequences and we need to do what we can to enable people to make the right choices.”

Teenager walks into pub after being ‘stabbed’ last night
A landlady and customers came to the aid of a boy who walked into her Stockwood pub saying ‘call an ambulance, I’ve been stabbed’.
Hayley Lip, landlady of the Harvesters in Harrington Road for 23 years, quickly responded to the boy’s plea when he entered the establishment soon after 9pm last night (April 23).
While one of the four customers inside called 999, she gave him two Thatchers cider mats and told him to apply them to the bleeding wound on his leg. The boy had a second wound on his waist - but this wasn’t bleeding.
