Eight months after starting up, BristolWorld has relaunched its daily newsletter to bring you closer to what’s happening in our city and provide an insight into our busy virtual newsroom.

That’s right, we’re dropping the automated list of stories and instead producing an email bulletin with a message from editor Alex Ross, who will take you through the day’s news agenda.

Blending comment and information with links to the stories, we hope it will lead to a more engaging and interesting way to access news from our team quickly - all from your email inbox each day at around 5pm.

Alex will also use the newsletter to make any announcements on BristolWorld as we continue to expand our coverage of the city with two new full-time reporters joining us at the end of August.

So, whether you are after breaking news, long-reads on city issues, food and gig reviews or just the latest weather forecast, subscribe to our newsletter in the panel above and receive all the news you need in one email each day.

Said Alex: “As we continue to grow we are looking for new ways for readers to access stories written by my brilliant team of reporters. One way is to visit our website, but we also want to provide a tailored newsletter which will give people a news round-up of what they have heard or might have missed.
