Drivers in and around Bristol will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M32, from 9pm January 16 to 6am February 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 Both Directions, junction 2 to junction 3 lane closures for barrier work.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M5, from 9am to 4pm on January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 entry slip from Avonmouth hard shoulder closure for electrical works.

M5, from 9.30am to 4pm on January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 hard shoulder closure for communication works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
