Road closures: three for Bristol drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Bristol will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bristol will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M32, from 10am August 16 to 3pm August 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 both directions, junction 1 exit slip roads, lane closure for grass cutting.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M49, from 8pm August 21 to 6am August 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M49 both directions M4, junction 22 to M5, junction 18a - lane closures for safety barrier work.

M32, from 9.30am September 4 to 3pm September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 both directions, junction 1 exit slips - lane closures for South Gloucestershire Council litter picking works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
