Drivers in and around Bristol will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bristol will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm February 19 to 5am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm February 21 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

A4, from 9pm February 22 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 westbound, St Brendans Roundabout to St Andrews Roundabout carriageway closure for drainage, diversion via Avonmouth Way and Third Way to St Andrews Way.

M5, from 9pm February 26 to 6am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 10pm February 26 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 18 to 17, lane closure for carriageway repairs.

M32, from 9pm March 1 to 6am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 1 exit slip road lane closure for horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
