Road closures: four for Bristol drivers this week

Drivers in and around Bristol will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

• M5, from 9pm May 16 to 5.59am May 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 17 lane closure for road markings renewal.

• M32, from 9pm May 18 to 6am May 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 southbound, junction 1 to junction 2 carriageway closure for central reservation, diversions, southbound: A4174 Filton Road, A38 Gloucester Road, B4469 Muller Road to junction 2.

• A4, from 11pm May 18 to 5.59am May 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 southbound, Portway roundabout lane closure on approach for road markings.

• M32, from 9pm May 19 to 6am May 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 carriageway closure for central reservation, diversion B4469 Muller Road, A38, A4174 to M32, junction 1.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
