Road closures: four for Bristol drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Bristol will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bristol will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M49, from 8pm June 26 to 6am August 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M49 both directions M4, junction 22 to M5, junction 18a - lane closures for safety barrier work.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M32, from 8pm August 4 to 6am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 lane closure for barrier repair.

M32, from 9pm August 4 to 6am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 both directions, junction 1 to 2 mobile lane closure for barrier works.

A4, from 10pm August 9 to 5am August 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 exit slip road and junction 18a link road to St Brendans Rbt closure for electrical works, diversion for exit slip, southbound to junction 19 and return, diversion for link road, Follow link road to Portway Rbt, right on Bristow Broadway to St Brendans Rbt.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
