Road closures: eight for Bristol drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Bristol will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M32, from 10pm January 3 to 6am January 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 3 to 2 - carriageway closure for central reservation works, diversion - B4051, A38, B4469 Muller Road, re-join M32, Access to Mina Road from M32, junction 3 entry slip road to remain open.

• M32, from 10pm January 4 to 6am January 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 southbound, junction 2 to 3 carriageway closure for drainage works, diversion B4469 Muller Road, A38, B4051 Ashley Road to junction 3.

• M32, from 10pm January 5 to 6am January 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 southbound, junction 2 exit slip road closed for carriageway maintenance, diversion via M32 southbound, exit, junction 3, turn and return northbound to junction 2.

• M32, from 10pm January 5 to 6am January 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 2 entry slip road closure for carriageway sweeping, diversion via M32 southbound, exit, junction 3, turn and return northbound to junction 2.

• M5, from 9pm January 8 to 6am January 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18 lane closures for structure maintenance.

• M5, from 9pm January 8 to 6am January 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

• M5, from 9pm January 15 to 6am January 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18 lane closures for structure maintenance.

• M5, from 9pm January 15 to 6am January 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
