Drivers in and around Bristol will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bristol will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 8pm November 2 to 6am November 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18, lane closure for electrical works.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm November 6 to 5am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 eastbound, St Brendans Roundabout to M5, junction 18 - lane closure for electrical works.

M32, from 10pm November 10 to 5am November 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 Both Directions, junction 1 to junction 2 lane closures for barrier repair.

M5, from 9pm November 13 to 6am November 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm November 20 to 5am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm November 20 to 5am November 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18 lane closures for structure maintenance.

A4, from 9pm November 20 to 6am November 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 Both Directions St Andrews Roundabout to St Brendans Roundabout lane closures for electrical works.

M32, from 9.30pm November 20 to 6am November 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 1 entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion M32 southbound to junction 2 and return.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
