Queen under medical supervision as health concerns grow

The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral with members of her family travelling to be by her side as concerns over her health mount.

A statement was released by Buckingham Palace at 12.32pm on Thursday (September 8) saying royal doctors were concerned for Her Majesty’s health.

Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Prince Andrew have all travelled to the Balmoral Estate where the Queen has been staying.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, are also expected to travel to Scotland to be by The Queen’s side.

Buckingham Palace’s statement read: “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

The nation’s longest-reigning monarch pulled out of a virtual Privy Council on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Liz Truss was scheduled to attend the meeting after being appointed by The Queen at Balmoral Castle, yesterday.
