‘Production is well under way’ according to the promoters

The promoters of one of Bristol’s biggest New Year’s Eve parties have sought to reassure ticket holders that the event will go ahead.

Rumble in The Jungle Events say the show will go on despite the ‘bad press’ surrounding the Propyard venue where it is due to take place.

The beleaguered venue on Feeder Road has been attacked by staff members and suppliers who claim they haven’t been paid for the past two months.

Propyard also cancelled a number of events in the run up to Christmas and ticketholders are still waiting for refunds.

But Rumble in The Jungle Events, the external promoters of the New Year’s Eve party, have issued a statement to reassure people that it will go ahead.

In a message on their Facebook page, the promoters said: “Production is well under way. We have full teams kitting out stages as we speak. All of our artists are really excited to come and put on a wicked show for you all - security and all site staff are covered for this event.”

The promoters added: “Amongst all the bad press, super stressful conditions and points of no return, we are all smashing out the show in full rumble style. Thank you all for keeping faith during these hard times.”
