The Foresters Arms will now offer enhanced sports viewing and live entertainment

A popular Bristol pub is reopening its doors after a ‘transformative’ makeover from its owners.

The Foresters Arms in Ashley Down is set to re-open after pub company Craft Union invested a six-figure sum to refurbish the pub.

Scheduled to welcome guests tomorrow (March 6), the Foresters Arms has a fresh new look and will also be hosting an entertainment-packed launch party across the weekend of March 15-17.

The revitalised community favourite will boast a range of new amenities, with the pub now offering an enhanced sports viewing experience, with multiple brand-new HD TVs, which will be showcasing TNT and Sky Sports. 

As well as this, guests can look forward to student nights, live music performances, and an array of entertainment options. Newly installed features will include a brand new dart board.

Jacob Hutchinson, new operator at the Foresters Arms, said: “I am so excited to embark on this new chapter at the Foresters Arms. We have created a truly uplifted space, and I cannot wait to welcome the local community through our doors.

“As a local myself, it’s been great to see the transformation of the venue, and I really hope to see as many of the local community as possible involved in all our amazing upcoming entertainment and sports events.”

The pub has brought in a brand-new entertainment schedule, with a charity jukebox, quiz, darts team and music bingo throughout the week. There will be Friday and Saturday night karaoke and live entertainment, which will showcase a range of musicians, and live performers. As the week comes to a close, guests can enjoy a Talk Sport Quiz on Sundays from 7pm.

The pub has lined up a range of events taking place for the weekend of March 15-17. The Friday kick the weekend off with a live DJ and giveaways.

On Saturday, there will be live local music, with fire breathers, stilt walkers and a free buffet.

On Sunday March 17, there will be ‘Irish Bingo’ and live music entertainment.
