Popular Bristol charity 'supermarket' to close its doors this month
and live on Freeview channel 276
A huge Bristol charity shop dubbed the ‘coolest’ in Bristol is set to close this month.
Charity Super.Mkt opened in the former Hollister building at Cabot Cabot last July, becoming the first dedicated charity shop space in the shopping centre.

Hide AdThe multi-charity pop-up store was originally supposed to be in place for just six weeks but extended its stay due to popular demand.
But in February, Charity Super.Mkt warned it could be forced to move if its contract was not extended further, expressing an interest in finding another space at the time.
In an Instagram post, Charity Super.Mkt wrote: “April will be our final month in Bristol, don't miss us!
“Our Bristol store has been our longest running store yet, shifting a whopping 35,255 items of clothing, saving 10.07 tonnes of textile waste from landfill, which is equivalent to travelling around the world 14 times.”

Hide AdCharity Super.Mkt is the the first ever multi-charity retail store in the UK, and it has opened a new pop-up in Brent Cross today (April 11), with other pop-ups currently operating in Gloucester and Oxford.
